New and improved battle system
- Boarding and destroying fleets in boarding will bring experience to fleets - Contracts insurace will cover the cost of killed marines in that mission - Crew experience can affect fleets in two ways, depending on attack / hitpoints ratio of the fleet it will be categorized as an assault vessel or board vessel, e.g. a board vessel is a fleet that has 1 attack to 10 hitpoints, more than that and it's an assault vessel - Crew experience affects attack / defence for assault vessel, hitpoints / defence for board vessel, a green + sign in battle report indicates where the crew bonus is - When attacking another commander, total powers are taken into account when determining the power range, previously was shipless power + fleets sent to battle, that sometimes made it not possible to attack in your ranking page, or to attack lesser commanders if using less fleets - Some improvements and additional info on the battle report added, some coloring green for good things (enemy destroyed / captured / enemy attack missed), brown for not good things (ships lost / failed attacks) - Complete battle report checking and rewriting of the code to fix all the bugs, as the code was old and bugy - Other server optimizations made to improve speed of the system
Please report any bugs you may encounter.
God Speed commanders!

Regarding the new limits on PvP
Seriously Emi, isnt this a wargame anymore? The way it was before was fair enough, you could send a small force further away, but the smaller the target the smaller the force... and on an exponential curve... so if it was more than a few spots away, you could not do serious damage anyway.
Ofcourse its easy for me to say, seeing as im usually in the top, but really... its killing my fun.

You had to send the whole armada to attack a higher commander, I wanted to change that so you can attack the high commander that you see floating with 0 ships about...
The old system was nice and fair when trying to attack lower targets, so I'm gonna try and mix them up, say you want to attack someone higher, it will take the full power, if you want to get someone lower, take the shipless power + fleets sent...

Sir Emi I can't even hit a person that is less than 50% less power than my own. I thought we could hit some one that was 20% our power as long as we took a partial fleet. what is going on with this?

- Fixed the bug with the galaxy fleets - Fixed the attack power pattern, if you attack someone of higher total power, you can go up 200%, if you go for someone lower, depending on fleets taken to battle and your shipless power, up to 80% of normal attack, 50% of counters as it is in the guide. E.g. You have 1000 assets power, 500 ships power, if you take 100 ships power to battle min power of target lower then you in total power: normal attack: 1100 * 0.8 = 880; counter attack: 1100 * 0.5 = 550; max power of target higher then you in total power: normal: 1500 * 2 = 3000; counter: infinite

Thank you Sir Emi for that explination. however, that puts a real dampner on warfare since I cant even attack the person right below me.
