Zyggy, missions are fine, nothing is wrong with them now, so it must be your ships or their layout or how you are doing missions. if this is about the 15 turns thing, Sir Emi has a good reason or he wouldn't do it, so give it a rest already and just live with it. If I had the ability, I would delete your posts, but I can't, but I CAN warn you. No double posting and especially no flaming someone, and even more so, not in a thread where it doesn't belong.

and further more, you shouldn't try to flame the person who MADE the game you are playing.  not normally the best choice of action.  I just hope Emi didn't get himself into something that is going to take a long time, as he has said before, programming this stuff takes a long time, and so who knows when this will actually be truly solved for EVERYONE.

First of all , kudos to Zyg for calling E out.  Nothing wrong with that.  Emi may have made the game and can do whatever he wants, but a game with no players dosent need much watching eh?  Emi is directly responsible for the number of people who play this game.  Believe me , if enough people grow tired of changes, popularity will suffer.

I live in the US man. And he can call E out all he wants, but he CANNOT say E deserves to be on the Hall of Shame. And anyway, he should make his own thread for flaming e, this is not the place for it. He is entitled to hate sir emi for the update, but that's about it. And mrtimbr, we have 10 year olds playing the game and the ToS of the game says no inappropriate language. Cussing falls under that category. I could careless otherwise, but since it is in ToS, I have to enforce it.

btw, luffy, i do NOT hate Sir Emi, i DO believe he tried an ill advised short cut for a problem that has been around since he made the commanders window & forced missions to be an important function. i've been trying to get his F**KING attention!!!!! and this is the correct thread, too. i've tried to be nice, logical, humorous, nothing has worked. so, i used fire & so far, again, i have been ignored. Mrtimbr, thank you for ur support of my 1st amendment right to free speech, which i shall exercise how i see fit, until the speech nazis come to take me away. i also exercise my 2nd amendment rights, too. im currently useing a more peaceful way. me with ducas sent a very leaughthy messege about what was happing to the top 200 people of the game.. this has gotten emi to change the killer fleets... now im working on telling people about the 15 turns per mission and how it used to be 5... and that to tell them to speak up and try to fix that

If it gets changed, he needs to make it 10 per, not 5, not 15, but 10. Any lower and the game will just become a race of who can do missions faster.

The fact Luffy is that E realy ruind the pleasure of plaing this game, and you have no right to say that we can't put E on the Hall of Shame cause we can, I don't give not good for him beeing the owner or the admin, it's our beliefe that the game is going down the drain because of him. Stop arguing whith people when you are wrong. You have been listend to more then enough, i think some thing around 1000 times, now it's your time to listen to the other guys, remember human rights.

The thing whith the human rights E has overlookt. The first changes to the game where good, but then all of a sudden he started to make changes that where destroing the game-play of SO so i think E should take the game of the server, finish the changes ant after that try a  . I'f you don't agree i would realy want to say ass of now

I have to agree with both of you.  E slowed the pace of the game down by doing that, but because at that point, the "pace of the game" was not really "let's see who gets higher in ranking?" but more or less "who can find and do the most missions?" 

but I also believe there should not be any problem with bringing missions back down to 5 once he gets this other stuff, especially the map, up and running, because then it will give another really good solid way to increase your strength other then missions.

I also agree with you on that, find a test server or something and do all your modifcations on that, then when a new round starts, "switch out" the game from the test server to the main server, then take the first month or so taking out all the bugs.  I would say ya, just wait till the round ends to do modifications, but seriously, these changes take a LONG time, and a typical round goes SEVERAL months long.

I AM listening to everyone else BOS, and I AM respecting your right to a human list, but Sir Emi can't be added to the hall of shame for the reason of raising the turns for missions, A) he is the game's creator, and B) he did it because he thought it was best. I'm not going to penalize him for trying to make the game better. But YOU guys need to think about the future, or as Ars pointed out else where, the now. At 5 turns a mission, we were running out of them too often too fast, and it became you can only win if you have broadband and quick fingers. 15 is ok, but 10 would be better, I've said it a million times. Lowering it to 5 would just bring about the same problem, even if he were to change to respawn rate and amount, we'd still run out of mission, because the game is continuely growing and that means more people doing missions. And I'm not wrong. The game is going down the drain? How many people have quit since the turns were raised? four or five? ten at max? That's a normal rate. It INCONVIENECED a lot of you, but you continue to play. If you think it ruined the game, I've got a nice suggestion for you:

QUIT PLAYING!!!!!!!!

And I have every right to say you can't add him to the Hall of Shame, since I'M running it and he hasn't done anything wrong but try to improve gameplay to make it fair! It's time you people get the hell over it. The game still runs, and gameplay has barely slowed any at all, you just can't do any get rich quick schemes, that's all. If you sit down and do missions, you'll still grow and become more powerful, but now you need strategy more then ever, less brute force and speed. I agree 15 is a bit too high, but 5 is just too low. I stand with my decision that 10 turns is a good amount for missions, encounters, and bounties. Attacking is still 5 turns, so this could be a way for Sir Emi to try to get the game back to it's roots of PvP instead of PvC. Just an educated guess there though 9educated Guess does not mean I have inside knowledge for those idiots in the crowd, it means I'm using logic to pick one of the most likely senarios).

If I have to argue with all of SO on this, so be it. I'm not backing down, my logic stands sound and has YET to be disproven. Inconievence or not, we needed the turns raised SOME, not as high as 15, but it HAS to be more then 5 now. 10 is what we need. You want respect? You want to be heard by Sir Emi? Give him respect for making the decision, because he HAS earned it and earn respect people, no one is going to give it too you for free.

And yes, I just did challenge all of SO who thinks we need 5 turns or the game is screwed, so bring it on!

sorry, luffy, i take exception that, just because ur a mod, that u have the right to censor an opinion. apparently, the 1st amendment of the U.S. bill of rights only applies to opinions u agree with. regardless of the the change that emi put in, i have every right to post my opinion, popular or not. and, right now, its pretty split. i also have the right to continue to play, even if i disagree with the changes. unless or until emi bans me. this forum is supposed to be a dialogue to air opinions. btw, my logic isnt any more flawed than urs, u just think so. thats ur opinion, u have a right to it. but, dont ever tell me i dont have a right to mine. and that goes for everyone else who opines.
