This post is ALWAYS accurate, so Sir Emi, please ban all these people but #18, who has presented evidence that proves the account was used by a friend and she has blocked that person out, either permantantly or temporarily, though most probably deserve a permanant IP ban from the site, as all had been wanred multiple times and refused to listen. And if you could, please inform me of who you have banned by PM or post, so I can put it on this list and we can keep track of our banned to date count, thanks.

Included on this list are the commander's name, number, and reason for being put on the list. Once on this list, you can never come off.

Also, I would like to officially request a (permanent or temporary ban) on the above-mentioned 4 players I nominated for blatantly violating the Space Odyssey TOS.

That's one of the reasons for this thread, the other is so people have targets who are rule breakers.

Oh alright, I thought maybe it was just for laughing at n00bs.  Which is a lot more fun than you may think. ;D

I know it is fun, but I figured we should have some way to record the rule breakers other then just sending e a message, which doesn't let players know who is bad. This way all of SO can join in punishing them. I call it Capitol Punishment Citizen Style. With a lot of SO players hitting them, they can't go anywhere in the rankings, which gets annoying fast.

Unfortunatly for us, and fortunatly for them, we have no evidence of improper behavoir or rule breaking from lamma, so we can't do anything about it.

in other news, this is my 150th post!

I don't know about Space Odyssey, but I know most other games will have something similar to this where one can go and see what people were banned/suspended from game for.  like:
lammalord banned for life for making to many alts in one day

(in other news, lammalord decorated most multi's created in one day)

ok, I'm just kidding, but you get my point right?  it would be like showing exactly what NOT to do.  I hope Sir E sets up an official page for this, as I know it really helps, especially if someone disappears suddenly and like to know why, instead of messaging E, you can just check hall of shame to see if his name is there.

That is why we hope this gets stickied. These players are breaking the rules and deserve to be banned if only for a short time. If they do get banned, I'll post a (Banned for however long) next to their descrition on rule breaking.

That's it, we're not waying that anyone who says something inapropriate or does a little bit of spamming deserves this list, just those who do it after being told or asked to stop. pinkhottie, if you think it is so cruel and everything, then maybe you should stop reading it.  then again, maybe you should just stop playing SO altogether because people don't care about making examples of others.  while your at it, I suppose you should not play these games either which does THE EXACT SAME THING.  (unfortunately I can't think of to many, but I know more ARE out there, others can prove this with other on-line games as well)

as I said, there ARE others, I am 100% sure of it, just these are the only ones I can rememeber at the moment.  but the point is still the same, the hall of shame is neither completely a bad thing that should be stopped, nor even a completely new thing.  some of the greatest parts of a game that enhances it can actually sometimes end up coming from another game.  so don't start telling us we shouldn't do it just because it is from another game.

just make sure YOU aren't on this list, and there shouldn't be problem, now should there?  most, if not ALL, the rules of Space Odyssey come from common sense, and those ones that aren't, no one will blame you and go all out on you without giving a warning first.  these are people who started doing it, which shouldn't have in the first place, been warned, and they take the warning and rip it up into 1 million tiny pieces and throw it out the window and continue on.

And I already sent her a message explaing this, but I think she only got on that once to yell about it cause she's dating one of the guys on the list Twisted Man I believe, that's how it sounded in chat, but they weren't breaking ToS, so I didn't pay too much attention. Some people don't get that inorder to be fair to all, you must condem others for their behvior, but we gave them warnings, sometimes several times. They HAD a chance to prevent it from happening. They choose to do it anyway.

We're at 15 with those three. This is starting to get out of hand. Sir Emi needs to take some action and ban some of these ToS breakers, otherwise everyone will keep thinking they can get away with it. I say he sends them a message informing them of the ban, and that if they break ToS again, they will be permanantly deleted and have their IP blocked. He should also include a link to the ToS, just so they can read them. Then they can't say they weren't warned or didn't know the rules.

red, having  multi accts is within the rules of SO. some of the more famous (infamous?) players have had up to 7 multis. theres no shame associated with them, just a different style of play. sorry about ur run in with webster, but he is within the TOS. we vets of the game have learned to adapt & adjust to multi accts, u will in time. just remember, the more accts a player has, the harder it is to maintain them.  :19:

Zyggy, missions are fine, nothing is wrong with them now, so it must be your ships or their layout or how you are doing missions. if this is about the 15 turns thing, Sir Emi has a good reason or he wouldn't do it, so give it a rest already and just live with it. If I had the ability, I would delete your posts, but I can't, but I CAN warn you. No double posting and especially no flaming someone, and even more so, not in a thread where it doesn't belong.

Regardless of the reason, Sir Emi was right to chnge missions. Why? BECAUSE HE MADE THE GAME! THAT'S WHY!

im currently useing a more peaceful way. me with ducas sent a very leaughthy messege about what was happing to the top 200 people of the game.. this has gotten emi to change the killer fleets... now im working on telling people about the 15 turns per mission and how it used to be 5... and that to tell them to speak up and try to fix that

If it gets changed, he needs to make it 10 per, not 5, not 15, but 10. Any lower and the game will just become a race of who can do missions faster.

The fact Luffy is that E realy ruind the pleasure of plaing this game, and you have no right to say that we can't put E on the Hall of Shame cause we can, I don't give not good for him beeing the owner or the admin, it's our beliefe that the game is going down the drain because of him. The thing whith the human rights E has overlookt. The first changes to the game where good, but then all of a sudden he started to make changes that where destroing the game-play of SO so i think E should take the game of the server, finish the changes ant after that try a  :beta:. I have to agree with both of you.  E slowed the pace of the game down by doing that, but because at that point, the "pace of the game" was not really "let's see who gets higher in ranking?" but more or less "who can find and do the most missions?" 

but I also believe there should not be any problem with bringing missions back down to 5 once he gets this other stuff, especially the map, up and running, because then it will give another really good solid way to increase your strength other then missions.

I also agree with you on that, find a test server or something and do all your modifcations on that, then when a new round starts, "switch out" the game from the test server to the main server, then take the first month or so taking out all the bugs.  I would say ya, just wait till the round ends to do modifications, but seriously, these changes take a LONG time, and a typical round goes SEVERAL months long.

I AM listening to everyone else BOS, and I AM respecting your right to a human list, but Sir Emi can't be added to the hall of shame for the reason of raising the turns for missions, A) he is the game's creator, and B) he did it because he thought it was best. I'm not going to penalize him for trying to make the game better. But YOU guys need to think about the future, or as Ars pointed out else where, the now. At 5 turns a mission, we were running out of them too often too fast, and it became you can only win if you have broadband and quick fingers. 15 is ok, but 10 would be better, I've said it a million times. Lowering it to 5 would just bring about the same problem, even if he were to change to respawn rate and amount, we'd still run out of mission, because the game is continuely growing and that means more people doing missions. And I'm not wrong. The game is going down the drain? How many people have quit since the turns were raised? four or five? ten at max? That's a normal rate. It INCONVIENECED a lot of you, but you continue to play. If you think it ruined the game, I've got a nice suggestion for you:

QUIT PLAYING!!!!!!!!

And I have every right to say you can't add him to the Hall of Shame, since I'M running it and he hasn't done anything wrong but try to improve gameplay to make it fair! It's time you people get the hell over it. The game still runs, and gameplay has barely slowed any at all, you just can't do any get rich quick schemes, that's all. If you sit down and do missions, you'll still grow and become more powerful, but now you need strategy more then ever, less brute force and speed. I agree 15 is a bit too high, but 5 is just too low. I stand with my decision that 10 turns is a good amount for missions, encounters, and bounties. Attacking is still 5 turns, so this could be a way for Sir Emi to try to get the game back to it's roots of PvP instead of PvC. Just an educated guess there though 9educated Guess does not mean I have inside knowledge for those idiots in the crowd, it means I'm using logic to pick one of the most likely senarios).

If I have to argue with all of SO on this, so be it. I'm not backing down, my logic stands sound and has YET to be disproven. Inconievence or not, we needed the turns raised SOME, not as high as 15, but it HAS to be more then 5 now. 10 is what we need. You want respect? You want to be heard by Sir Emi? Give him respect for making the decision, because he HAS earned it and earn respect people, no one is going to give it too you for free.

And yes, I just did challenge all of SO who thinks we need 5 turns or the game is screwed, so bring it on!

Second, this is Luffy's list, he has the right to choose who he put's on.

Third of all, I don't remember hearing him invoke is moderatorship. He's no more agitated than anybody would be. In fact, I'm pretty sure just about anybody else would've used way more exclamation marks in that post.

Fourthly, the majority of internet goers use 56K-ish connections.

the issue is not broadband or dial up the issue was we requested that E increase the respaw of missions and make more avalible.  enstead he made missions take 15 turns from a lovely 5 truns.  I am snail speed dial up myself.  I mean I get a turn just changing pages.  That is why E was put here for making missions take 3 times the turns and not fixing the respawn rate. with more players we still have the same problem of missions going to fast. That is the whole point. E rates hall of shame for a a half baked fix that has caused many folks greif.  Also for those with more than 2 billion power doing anything over 10% missions is suicide.  no matter the ship used.  and I would have to agree with Zyggy on that.  DO not get me wrong I love E for making this game availble for us to play and I know he works very hard on it.  He is one of the best game desingers around because most of the time he listens to what  feedback we are giving him.  And luffy does not have a lock on all the game statictics and he defends E way too much. However, on his behalf E does not belong here for the stated purpose of breaking TOS.  But hall of shame works for the reasons stated buy Zyggy.

Answer me that! whatever Sir Emi's reasons were for changing the turns, they had to be good ones or he wouldn't have done it, did you ever stop to consider that, or are you guys to busy being pissed off that he slowed your game down a little bit. You guys keep saying that the game is too slow paced now. Really? I've seen some major power jumps, some serious changes in the top ten, and more fighting going n AFTER the update then before, when back then everyone was just going up at a nearly exact same pace. Wither you like it or not this update HAS made the game more active, and slowed it down only a little. I see no stalling in the game, people still look like they're growing in power everyday to me.

Sometimes to do what is right and best for EVERYONE, you have to do what isn't popular. Sir Emi is doing just that. Maybe this will change in the future and it'll get lowered, maybe not. Who knows and frankily it shouldn't matter. If all you care about is winning, then tell him you'll donate $100 if he lowers the turns or something, and see if you can buy him off. Otherwise, deal with it or quit.

if thats the case then i would like to report for harrassment. that player is Kiado and he mention adult language to me all because of i raided his base. when i got his message and read it i was like..what the heck, its just a game for pete's sake and its a game where you fight someone. not just some peace-keeping game which no one will probably play

All in game messages are not punishable, the offense must be either on the forum or in the chat.

To make the situation clearly, I should explain that I was attacked by this "person" that had a problem with someone in my alliance. Probably frustrated by the fact that he was severly beaten, he tried to get revenge against weaker ppl in the alliance, such as myself.
Not that I'd care about being attacked, but I don't stand this kind of behaviour (conversation, I mean).

I want to report multi account use and abuse of Wiley Space Cadet. His second account is Level. His fleet is name "For Wiley". I would like to ask Sir Emi to either ban both accounts.
Otherwise I will leave this game because it seems is unfair. After reading posts on the forum on the multi accounts the administrator(s) do nothing about it.
He executed 39 attacks on me using different fleets...
What i am angry about it is that I am feeling stupid right now because I donated real money...for what? Playing World of Warcraft is much more fun....

I've looked into this and from what I can tell it is just a misunderstanding by profit of doom.

From what I can tell profit of doom found this and thought planets couldn't be raided with system fleets still there.
So Aizen raided his planet while he had system fleets and he immediately thought that Aizen had to be hacking.
He also happens to message Aizen some thing to the effect of 'I have reported you for hacking'.
Aizen replied saying something along the lines of 'Nothing will be done about it'.
For profit of doom this confirmed his suspicions that Aizen was hacking when he raided his planet.

Like I said basically just a big misunderstanding lol.
