kenquinn,
i made a ship of the same hull size to compare since he made his with a lot of heavy components and with it being made the normal way its still extremely close. if you want to look it up its called  "clone1"
Well my ship NightShadow's Incitement of Immortally 9 v2 costs less and has more attack/hp overall then his and yours also has the same ACC and 1% less ASB then Anilator111's ship.
Space: 4.659.814
ATT: 156.339.989
HP: 380.729.365
Attack accuracy: 75%
Absorb Power: 58%

Edit: Now I can get in to the technical details of why adding weight to components to reduce energy costs is generally less effective then putting the same weight in to the powercore and using the extra energy in the component if you want me to.

mine has a lot of defense. i made it to match his for comparison. if i were to take away the defense it would be more like nighty's ship
Should of looked more carefully at your ship stats yours does have a effective Att/HP greater then mine if you were to convert the energy on defense in to ATT/HP

Now I did a quick test with using weight in a powercore and putting that weight in a special instead this is what I did:

I made a 500,000 weight Special that needs 900 Energy since when i tried adding energy 1 by 1 to reduce the cost it was reducing it by more then 3

It had 49,998,067 HP

Now if I were to make 499,992 weight powercore it would give (499,992 - 13)* 400 -79 = 199,991,521 energy
Now I put that in a 8 weight special it would give: 59,996,057 HP

You can see that putting space in a powercore is more cost effective but I will do more testing

Edited: Because I use a 5,000,000 weight Special instead of a 500,000 weight one

It's a modified version of that one. Don't know where I got it from though.
