SO Main - Why PvP?

I have tested on alts  , some techniques that allow going past nebula, and past pws, and attempt capturing any ships of the enemy, in whatever fleet setup they use, as long as the other has fleets up and is not online. However, due to the high cost in play-time turns and credits i never saw  any real use for them and dismissed them as expense without gain.

I think Joe Roe may be compensating for something with all that talk coming from a pacificist on SO MAIN     j/k

2. I am a pacifist.... nope... just never found anything to gain from wars, and never saw a way to win one in your terms and territory...
3. If you want to know what is war for, read some Sun-Tzu and Clausewitz. And neither of them ever said war is for fun... War is just a tool to gain what you cannot gain otherwise. (quoting Winston Churchill: "war is the last refuge of the incompetent", Quoting Sun-Tzu "If a enemy surrounds you, you have to escape his logic"). Maybe now you understand the strategy i used, was not pacifist, but appropriate to reach my goal...  In another situation and context i would have used a different strategy. Your strategy (war) was suitable 4 you, as you had powerful allies, a dominant position, and resources to waste.

the strategy you used was self centered, helped your alliance in no way at all and used the power of others to benifit yourself...
