Well i know the topic of whether giving credits to people has been discused quite a few times, i figured id make a suggestion concerning it. What i was thinking is that market transfer and ship transfer or whatevr should be against the rules, and instead there should be a way to transfer cash to people straightforward. Now ot stop this from letting the top players easily fund there whole alliance (like they do now) i was thinking there should be something liek a limit, where every 24 hours you can receive a certain amount of money depending on your segments, which would incourage segment growth too. Also maybe have a limit on how much you could transfer today also depending on your segments, and sicne segments give lamsot no income to people at high powers, this would incourage people to get more to help out there alliance. Idk just an idea i had since atm whoever is in first can easilly pull up there entire alliance where it only takes 1 skilled player to let an allianace dominate the round.

hmm, what about an alliance which has all the same number of ships each "players" has and they all have nearly same power which means 4 or 5 of them are right next to each of them and i suspected that all of them are really a single player handling all those accounts...that might be problem for your idea...what if a player created an alliance ONLY for himself with his own couple accounts and all of his accounts give it's own credits to his primary account? i think that might be a major problem and some players who would willing to do that might take advantage of us and we all might complain about it?

i might missed some point in your idea ?

Except, Crazy, that people can already do that if they want.  And it's already something bad to do.

And you wouldn't have to be in the same alliance to transfer funds, it's just that alliance members are the most common target for funding.

Didn't the one player controling on the accounts in one alliance happen a couple of rounds ago with duo barton as the leader?

Maybe, they could just create an "Alliance Fund" where members can donate to and then each member would get a Dailly payout from it. You could even get really fancy with it and give each alliance a planet in the galaxy that can hold this fund, but could also be attacked and raided. This would then require the alliance to put defence ships around this planet.

There is already an alliance bank being made, and Sir Emi has already said he will never allow direct credit transfer in the ways you are refering to. He was reluctant to even make the alliance bank (not made yet, but has been accepted). So stop bring this up.

about the only way I could ever see giving credits to others ever work is if Emi based the max amount they can receive to how much the person on the receiving end has, like you can only get in funds 1000 credits per segment you have, or something like that.  or half your workers, or something like that.  and that's it.

but yeah, monkey is right, this has been brought up many times, and E has already said he will do something along these lines with the alliance bank.

wouldn't be fair if it was segments. I've known people to be in the top ten with 1000 segments before, so they would never be able to recieve many credits. But, like we said, an alliance bank is in processing...somewhere in the line of updates.

My guess as to its main use is to create ships for use in the galaxy, to defend places...maybe including planets.
