Author Topic: A "max" button  (Read 6864 times)

I would like to see something simple: A max button for things.  Like for resupplying marines, next to each fleet, a button that uses either all the credits you have available to buy as many marines as possible, or fills up the entire ship, whichever comes first.  Or for hiring workers, the max button uses all your "available" (not in stash) credits to buy workers.  Or for the stash, max deposit transfers all credits to stash, and max withdrawl brings all of them out.  Or for market, instead of having to type in the numbers, there's a min bid, which places the minimum bid on the item, and a buyout button, which pays the buyout price.  It could probably come in handy other places too.

I already made a suggestion about min bid, but am glad to see you support it too.

And yes, those things would be quite handy.

And how about being able to buy all marines when you have a discount (by this, I mean, if you have 400 credits, and 5% off of marine costs, you should be able to buy more than 400 marines at a time)?

well, if you tire of typing, quit. This would be more of a waste of bandwidth than anything, as it does such a minial task.

ShadowBlade....all you have to do is copy and paste the amount of credits you have on hand then put it in blank form and then remove the decimals...its simple just like that *snap fingers* surprised you didnt try other methods except basic typing

haha Crazy Man,Monkey D. Luffy I think that your guys position is wrong. Because if you want 1623518425145491*15488877979^2/81623914 you just put numbers in calculator. Or maybe you count in on paper... The result is similar(ofcourse if you not dumb=). But the time you spent on this is different.

ok, here's the thing: THE INTERNET IS NOT A CALCULATOR, EVERYTHING ON IT TAKES BANDWIDTH WHICH COSTS MONEY!!!!!

I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice, but with all the other stuff we need, it's just be wasting valuable space.

Not everything takes bandwidth. Heard about javascript? 19
This could be made with almost non additinal bandwith, jsut some more code, but no page loads.
Tip. If you buy marines, and want to buy max, just type 999999999999999999999999999999999999999 or something 16

hmm...  ya, I don't really see any real need for this...  all you have to do is copy and paste 1  a little bit of frustration having to take out all the commas/periods, but that is really minor.

about the biggest time waster I know of, though, is transferring stash credits to workers, because you have to copy and paste then edit stash credit number, then copy and paste then edit on hand credit to now workers (if different number then)
