Covert Ops attack: -> the operation may go better or not so good. The outcome influences the results. -> Expert salvages does influence what you can salvage from the covert ops attack.
Covert Ops attack types: - Gather intelligence (only costs the counter, no other cost) -> it will return information on top 10 reserve fleets, secret base workers, secret base stash, mothership credits - Sabotage reserve fleet -> there is a chance to destroy some ships in one of the top 3 reserve fleets -> bigger and more expensive ships are harder to destroy -> defender gets 60% salvage in credits of the destroyed fleets, just like in a PvP battle -> if operation fails / no ships are found, CP cost is returned for this attack type. Counter & turns are always used. -> Attacker gets salvage a percent of destroyed amount. - Sabotage mothership vault -> destroy credits in mothership. -> A chance to destroy a small percent of the enemy credits. -> Attacker gets salvage a percent of destroyed amount.
- Sabotage secret base vault -> destroy credits in secret base stash -> Attacker gets salvage a percent of destroyed amount.
- Incite worker revolt -> kill secret base workers -> Attacker gets salvage a percent of destroyed amount.
- added new button "Covert Ops" in the right of the attacks select box of the "WAR room"
- Min-max warp chance will now go from 0%-100%, depending on the power difference between attacker / defender. Power range is from 30% - 260% of attacker power for full assaults. The range can be modified with warp scram / stabs. - the mothership will always try to evade a full assault attack.
- added battle report command in Counters / Attacks room. It will show the full details of each battle from the logs.
- diminishing nebula was not needed anymore and was removed
- since the new attack Covert Ops is basically a counter-attack, you can do Covert Ops from inside the nebula
COUNTER rules change to get in line with the new Covert Ops attack type: - remote / full assault counters are given / taken whenever the defender loses 3% / attacker does 3% or more damage of mothership power - if a Counter-Attack does not destroy the required 3% to use the counter, 6 hours are deducted from the counter remaining time
Signatures / Counters are left behind after an attacker assaulted your mothership and did 3% or more damage. A counter is used only if the counter-attack does 3% or more damage to the enemy. If a Counter-Attack does not destroy the required 3% to use the counter, 6 hours are deducted from the counter remaining time. If there are less then 6h left, the counter is used.

Nope you cant do any missions in a nebual - diminishing nebula was not needed anymore and was removedThat refers to getting less and less time in a nebula if you go back in to one too soon. Was meant to prevent buddy nebbing.

I will get to that in the next days. So far, you don't get diminished nebula anymore, but you can't do any combat mission except counter attacks from inside the nebula. We'll see how it goes.

In the case of credits, stash, workers: The percent lost by the defender ranges from a base of 1%-5%, modified by how the operation goes, if they detect you etc etc. Example: 1-5% let's say 2.5% modified by operation not so good range / success (0.75 to 1.3), let's say a 1.2 operation => 2.5 * 1.2 => 3% on this one. Attacker gets about 10% of destruction done, modified by the salvage skill. So every covert ops operation has different results...

Just wanted to decide if keeping money on hand or in stash would even be worth it anymore... and it appears that it will be. Thanks.

Like this, thanks,
One question though, do ships in the reserved fleets fight at full strength, If they are in reserve surely their crews would be drunk and partying, that would effect their operational ability?

Thats because you secretly supply other commanders crews with the alcohol that your crews are banned from having, then blow them out of the sky when they're rat arsed!!

if you do sabotage ships do you still have a chance to kill ships in a fleet with 1 ship in it?
and top 3 - does that mean top 3 most ships or top 3 most power in reserve? if so, what are the odds of blowing up a missionship in reserve?
