There is a list of updates and new features for SO Main when the new round begins.

Some of the features like Alien Queen spawns are very interesting  1

- Alien Commanders can drop up to 5 items of the valuable type instead of only one
- hidden aliens power is compatible with player power now and there will no longer be aliens with too low or too high power in the hidden alien encounter
- the chance for Alien Commander after clearing hidden alien spawn has gone up considerably
- an Alien Queen can spawn after an Alien Commander is killed in the hidden alien encounters. The Queen can drop the most valuable items.
- the Alien Queen from the Incursion also drops very valuable / useful items aside from the usual ones if defeated

- turn items credits value has been increased
- Gold accounts can now deactivate the text below the vote links that displays general exchange rate info and announcements

- the number of stars in the Galaxy has been increased to 20 per quadrant instead of 7, totaling 2000 stars in 100 quadrants. This will make for more diversity of missions / encounters and more hiding places for planets, bases, facilities in the systems.

- a news entry is made if a player found 300 items or more.

- new players registering for the new round with 3000 or more turns passing since beginning of the round get a free 72 hours newbie nebula

Also there will be many new players coming in in the new round due to some advertising campaigns.

i hope you are also planning on increasing the amount of missions my a larger amount because there is already jack poop encounters out there

meh who needs encounters...

if encounters are not increased accordingly then you will lose players out of boredom...

The encryption missions will have a higher number and maybe the encounters too. The fact is that by increasing the number of stars you do not have to use more turns because the distances are the same as the stars are closer together.

There is also an additional benefit by decreasing the clutter of encounters / missions into one system that would prevent you from seeing all of them.

New players will be enrolled in  the "Official Space Odyssey Training Alliance"

This alliance will not have its power counted, and the members limit will be removed for it.

I may also join this alliance to provide support to the newbie players, along with Odyssea support account.

We couldn't get the same thing on Wars too could we?

some of the wars updates look good and some updates on here look good.. would still like to see some changes to the attack/neb system to help prevent buddy/alt nebbing.. increase some pvp here

the distances may not be the same but you will be going back and forth more causing you to use more turns.

there wasnt enough encounters to clutter anything in the first place. and not one of the top 10 players used encryptions last round... increasing them would be pointless.

i do like the idea of the training alliance tho. players already set up a similar one

I do hope that everyone will suggest to leave the alliance once the new members have reached rank 30 or higher and have enough experience to go on alone (or in an alliance of course)

Just to avoid top 30 being in 1 alliance, as they don't have max players, just look at rankings now happy 7 out of 10 players is already in OTA happy
