Here's an interesting article on how EVE is trying to fight gold miners. They've just recently instituted a new system for identifying and removing them. It even has graphs of data before and after the system was started. What was certainly surprising was how the CPU time on the servers was decreased by 30 whopping percent. Keep in mind that the banned parties just constituted around 2% of the active users.

This, right here, is on article on their new PLEX system. They're trying to push it as an alternative to gold miners and the like, and I think its a well thought out plan. Basically, you can buy 30 day game cards using cash and sell them on the in-game market for credits (or whatever). The money's being channeled into the game itself instead of, I don't know, Asia or something. Not to mention, each PLEX goes to people who actually like playing the game (and might not be able to afford paying real money every month).

What are your guys' thoughts on the matter?

Does that think what I think it means or does it just mean I have an illusion that I could pay the game soon?

If you can make enough credits, you can play the game for, essentially, free. You'd have to buy the game first, and I don't think you could afford a continuous supply of PLEX's right off the bat, but it's still probably useful for a whole lot of people. Plus, EVE's still getting the money it needs to keep the game going and provide people with numerous goodies.

It says that, if used on a trial account, it changes it to a paying and adds 30 days to your limit.
Either I'm misreading something or I'd have 14 days to make enough money to buy a PLEX.
If I succeed, I should have no problem doing it again in 30.

That or I should go to sleep since I'm obviously misreading something

That seems to be exactly what it says, interesting. This seems somewhat lucrative.

I really hope you're not referring to 3 months of paying.

Of running the bot at least a few hours a day I dont know the exact time data. With a good mining ship you can make much more then 300 mill a month but that takes a few 100 mill to get however I'm no expert on eve in fact I dont even play it laugh

One sure way to do it is to play and get to the point where you can buy a PLEX every month 12
