Nah definately not! Can't call someone a vet for just appearing in top 10, I've done that a few times and I wouldn't class myself as one!
Think a top 3 more than once or winning a round would be the normal reason to be considered a vet, maybe some of the ship designers whose ships are still used and are considered the best or original.
I could see other reasons for being considered depending apon a collective view of other experienced players, maybe just years of active playing and contributing to the enjoyment/terror of others!!

i'm not even on there. some wolfy58 is but no wolfy28  . lightseeker wasn't a good pvp like people say. i beat him 2 rounds in pvp then farmed a truce,cuz he always got me friends to talk me out of wars with him. why he's always on top is cuz he hated pvp. while the rest of the vets would gladly give any amount of our power for a good war. we never shot for the top 10. we just happen to get in the top 10 anyways. |
