This update is on SO Main. If all goes well, it will also be added on SO Wars / SO PvE

- There is a new attack type called "Raid colonists"
- Raid attack has been renamed to "Raid resources"

Raid colonists will enable you to capture colonists on a planet and transport them to your secret base.
This attack type can also be used prior to a full scale invasion in order to make room for the landing parties and weaken the planet defense force.
Just be careful, if you raid too many times and the colonists drop below 50% of planetary capacity, the planet will enter rebellion for 24 hours.
After a successful Raid colonists attack, your officer will inform you of the number of remaining colonists on the planet.

- Redesigned the planetary attack types to show more and detailed information on the attack types, including objectives and success data
- There is now more information on your invasion marines force prior to the planetary attack. You will see the total number of marines on your active fleets that you can use in battle. Please note, if you have more then 10 active marined fleets you can only select 10 fleets to drop the 10 marines waves in the planetary attack.

can we have more information that just this, like how the raid colonists will be, as raiding a base for instance, you dont loose any workers, is this the same for Colonists or is a invading fleet also have to fight the colonists and take a % if there attack kills more than they loose?

If you find a planet and click on the "Attack" button, you should get a screen with all the attack information like this:

Invasion type:
Raid colonists    
10 turns

Raid resources    
20 turns

Conquer
40 turns

Total marine invasion force on active and available fleets:
0 marines ready for orders!

Your fleets will deploy marines on the planet surface. You can deploy up to 10 waves of marines, each fleet will deploy one wave, marines deployed depend on the planet occupation and capacity. The more colonists on the planet, the harder it will be to raid / conquer.

Raid colonists
Objective: eliminate 3% or more of the colonists on the planet
Success:
  5% of the colonists on the planet are captured and transferred to your secret base
  planet will enter rebellion if colonists are less then 50% of planet capacity

Raid resources
Objective: eliminate 50% or more of the colonists on the planet
Success:
  gain 20% of the resources / credits while 10% will be destroyed in the raid
  planet will lose 5% capacity due to battle environment damage
  planet will enter rebellion and can not be attacked for 24h

Conquer planet
Objective: eliminate 80% or more of the colonists on the planet
Success:
  gain 50% of the resources / credits the planet and 50% of the structures
  planet is captured, remaining colonists on planet are captured
  planet will lose 25% capacity due to battle environment damage

If there is a station in orbit protecting the planet, you will not be able to conquer until the station is destroyed. Raids can be done anytime.
