I was thinking maybe we could have some kind of alliance research.
With the research you could add to the alliance page Alliance Research.
It would have stuff like increased worker growth, increased credit interest, etc.
Then it would apply to every account in the alliance.
It could cost turns, cp, and credits just like normal research but way higher.
Or maybe it could be done like mothership modules.
Then those people who have maxed most of their modules will actually have something to do with their extra resources lol.
I think this would be a great boost to alliances.
And yes before anyone posts it I know it could be fairly easily abused with alts or by some greedy a-hole who just let people in got high techs and then kicked them and never let anyone join again.
This could easily be solved I think (this is the and more part) by having not just chat moderators but in-game moderators.
I posted something a bit like this earlier but basically in-game mods would be able to ban accounts for a week if there is a goof chance they are breaking TOS.
Also when they do that Sir Emi could get an auto pm so that he can look into it further.
Or we could always just do it the other way and everyone on the server gang up on whoever was abusing it.

i like the idea..

useing resources would be the way to do it i think, wound give a use for them later on in the round, and make who is in your alliance more important 13

the price would have 2 be something like 10X higher. or dependant on how many people are actually in your alliance.

I think its a good idea, though what if you make it possible that it requires all members to "help" meaning it needs all members to have at least x% for it to "fully" work this will allow alliances to think about who they kick/let in and it would require alliances to think long term in a way... Either way I think its a great idea...

I like this one Jan'go,

I do seem to be trying to increase the workload of alliance leaders, but 1 way to get everyone to contribute would be to have the leader set a % of resources/credits to be collected from members on a 24 hour cycle. In this was those that need to grow can have a lesser contribution than those that arer maxed.

Again I feel that on joining an alliance you should have to make a contribution in credits/ resources immediately.
