Hey guys, i have an idea for space odyssey that i think will help the game. But first congrats to Wiley for a round win. Ok, if you make a sucessful attack on somone and get the exp. the same number of exp. is used to become a special kind of credit called an attck credit. (Note: you will still get the exp. awarded for the attack and the attack credits. if you get 3500 exp. you get that exp. and those 3500 attack credits.) Now, once you get enough attack credits you can exchange them for a free upgrade or a free ship or something at the Exchange market.(You can just add this idea to the market section if you like.) Or you guys can add more upgrades to the exchange market that i haven't thougth of. Let me know how u think of it thanks

This sounds like a good idea. Incentive for PvP some new things to keep the game from getting to boring. Maybe there could be a separate "research" category for your attack credits that can add to all things PvP but doesn't have a limit. So it would have add 1% to attack, def, hp, acu, etc.

Need an s-ship? If you have Gold just search Jangos, then select the price you want. If you don't have Gold just pm me for a design.

could work, but then, could be easily abused, which would be key. (i attack a player with all decoy ships, get lots of experience)

plus, attack experience would have to come from pvp only in order to encourage it, otherwise it'd be the same grinding as normal.

I know it could be abused easily, that was the biggest problem with the idea when i was thinking of it.

A easy way to fix the issue of using decoys and pships to abuse this would be to Either A: Compare attacking fleet cost to defending fleet cost and if the attacking fleet is much > then defending fleet you get reduced experience or B: Make any ships that have a low hp to attack ratio not count for EXP

Also why is this not in the Suggestion forum?

this may be the same as ken's but just calculate the points u get from the cost of shippys u destroyed instead of the power.

this would solve power shippys and decoys abusing

power ships and decoys are a strategy though Spayed, so we don't want to eliminate those if we don't have to. Otherwise one alliance, the first to get on after d-day will basically own the round as they can jsut kill everyone else's ships with ease and never fear an attack.

nobody has shippys just after d day.

and it wouldnt eliminate them, would just mean that u dont get many points for killing them in pvp

lol some people have shippies right after d-day, but anyways, your idea could balance it, though i'm sure there would need to be some tweaking to get things jsut right.
