i know i have mentioned this before, but i fell in love with the simplcity of this game way back when i started.. one that didnt take more than an hour of my time to use up a days turns.. back when there was NO galaxy and only mission contracts that gave you rewards based on your power (not commander level) that costed 5-15 turns each.. (oh no dont you dare bring back the tiny man haha)
of course updated with things such as the mulpile weapon upgrades, speed attacking, grouping, and other stuff for convience.. im sure its easy to remake that.. and its something more simple that us players that dont have much time can still get ahead on. not to mention there was ALOT of PvP in that sever... cause cash was so easy to come by...
yes. im thinking of a sever with:
No Galaxy
No Items
24 Nebs
No limit on allainces
No restrictions on Mothership contracts (make them based on power)
50-200% attack range (ONLY!)
and well No donations for turns (would ruin the point of a fair game, cause this time you CAN'T simply play more to get turns)
No increase in amout of CP needed for Line Assembly

i like the idea and all, but like someone already pointed out on another thread it would only take away more players from other servers thus making every server a boring 10 person competition

not really every sever has its own players, Sea-o is almost never mentioned here, Wars isnt played by many players in Main, and like i said before mothership contracts based on power that cost 5-15 turns with no way to attack in galaxy or get more turns wouldnt take more than an hour to play (low mataince sever) back then i could finish a days turns in 15 min.. then rest of the time is what i do on spaceo anyways, chat.

I think that it'd be awesome, I too miss the simplicity of the ol' game.
I know it would get a lot of people to start playing again, too.

In the past there were made updates so that people with only 1 hour a day could compete vs the kids with allot of time. Cant see how someone with an hour of time can do that again.
Lamma get rid of the multiple weapon reduction in power ;)
And get rid of all the tinyman designs in the mission database.
