review from Satan

well the Sword of Truth series is about Richard Rahl first having to overthrow his evil fathers rule and then he has to destroy the imperial order who think they are mankinds savior by destroying all magic and making everyone give everything they own away. Wizards First Rule is about Richard having to fight his way to Darken Rahl's Palace and finally kill him to stop him from using ancient magic to enslave the world. The second book is about Richards journey to the old world where he was taken by the sisters of light, who are sorceress that try to teach wizards.

I have read all the books except the prequel (approx. 100 pages) and books 9-11 (the 11th is not out yet)
The books range from approx. 600-900 pages each.

(no spoilers!) kind of a "back of the book" sort of review..

Also:

Roger Joseph Zelazny:
Chronicles of Amber.

I think there are also 3 prequel books, didn't read them though.

Also, I saw Night Watch in English and I would recommend it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Watch_(Russian_novel) for more info.
