My alliance (Project RS) is primarily a training alliance right now. The following commander has consistantly attacked both my member's motherships and stations even after attempted diplomacy.

Cloak your Bases ... Cloaking is cheaper than Scanner tech.
It's the only way to be safe.
War is ok, it is the War Server. :-)
PS: Killing Bases serves to beef up the Quadrant in terms of Asteroids. It's also too profitable to ignore.
