Shielding

I joined Space Odyssey when it had under 4000 players, yet I never figured out if shielding, weapons accuracy and special defense bonuses are cumulative.

shields and all systmes are cumulitive for that systems but for each systems above 1 you -1 per total sytems  ie  you 5 shields you get your total and -5  but the 1st shield will give off full power the 2nd 1/2 power the 3rd  1/3 power  also if you have too big a gap in your shield %s they will average and not add. you have to get all the formulas fighured out  which it seems they change around certian %s  on multiple weaopon you will losse 1% from acu and 1% from the attack for each additions weapon system.  computers work in a similar fashion so do specials.  now when adding the bonuse from puters to weapons or special  you add that % to them  that is the basic idea  but there are a lot of differnt formula that govern how they are actuall implemented

Yes but some of the formula's are incorrect stated on the forum, like I have not yet seen the right formula for shields and computers
