Snipedragon is the latest victim of my sarcasm and childish behavior.

Though he released some interesting information.

Apparently he thinks that he is creating the council system, designing new item designs or something to that effect and eventually will be debugging the game.


Emi is this true? Is this why Snipedragon is moderating just about every forum area? I would really like to know so I can show at least a little respect to this immature kid. (Hah, as if I was very mature)


Secondly, he is a moderator, yet he lets his emotions get the best of him. Granted, its a very weak insult, however an insult is still an insult. I stated in my post on the moderator terms that I will try to control myself and I did. I refrained from insults and vulgar language. Not once did I insult him, and not once did I use vulgar language (d**n is not included because the filter does not block the word d**n on the chat box)

Thirdly, He clearly abused his powers of moderation. In an attempt to "get even" with me, he locked my poll. He had stated that the threat was not locked, but the poll was, stating that the post is pointless. My reply to him was that, Emi, you had told me to create a poll and get commanders votes. If what you command another commander to do something, do you consider it pointless considering you told him to do it for a reason?

That is exactly what I am doing. What I was told to do. In the end it does not matter weither or not I get my fleets back, it has caused wide spread attention about killer fleets and is in need of serious revision. Killer fleets are something that should never occur. Granted, sure, whatever you say. They may not be a bug, but they should not be anything different then reported in the briefing screen (prior to combat). When something says its a certain power, it should be within that range. I understand that fleets encountered might be lower or higher by a little bit, but clearly killer fleets go beyond the scope.

There is alot more too this but I really have lost all focus on caring about something so trivial as someone like SnipeDragon.

All I can say is, how can a 17 yr old who (with a player number of over 33,000) and 9 posts on the forums be a forum mod and a developer for the game. It just doesnt make sense, and he clearly has abused the powers given to him so how can he be trusted to "Debug" the game?

Ok, so first of all I would to point out that sarcasm and insults are not desired, nor to another commander nor to a Space Odyssey team member.
Now I'm not saying someone insulted another, but some may take some words personally, in witch case, the dispute has to stop at that point, in order to avoid agravation. So please stop with the personal posts, try posting in abuse if you suspect some abuse, and watch the TOS (mods and commanders) and moderation rules (mods) carefully.

SnipeDragon is a programmer and an administrator for another top lists directory, and we worked out an advertising program for Space Odyssey on this top directory list, in order to bring in more players. Also, he is working on a review for Space Odyssey, (Remfer and Monkey could help with stories here), that will be put on the first page of that site, as well as helping with some other stuff, e.g. creating other commander ranks, and maybe helping in the Galaxy Research and Buildings Project.

I state here that he is a very nice person, and a very important asset for Space Odyssey, and you are not allowed in any way to tread him disrespectfuly.

You need to stop your crying and complaining, and let Sir Emi Develop the game, and let Everyone else play they game, all you end up doing is proving you are a big baby that crys when he looses, I have news for you, GET OVER IT!

If this isnt an insult to Duo then I dont know what is actually considered an insult in this game, but calling someone you dont know a big baby who cries when he loses seems more of an attack to me.

But then this is a game and those of us who are twice the age of majority of the players here will just have to deal with the squabble and let the words ring in our ears(in thru one and out the other).

btw what keeps me playing SO isnt the game so much as the people that I talk to in chat and my alliance, the interaction between players is a key point of this game. You can pretty much tell when someone is just joking around or when their not if youve talked to them before.

It comes down to 'if I dont know you who are you to criticize me', maybe getting a little off track here.

Theres no rules against moderators engaging in all out war in game with another mod/developer/whatever he is.

Everyone knows full well I do not tolerate being disrespected and Silver, thanks for taking the time to post that. Saves me the time of going to quote it.

Seriously, he may do work on the game, but he wont advance. I will see to that personally. This is unsat and will not be tolerated. I for once kept my cool and did not insult him nor did I use vulgar language, and he went publicly on a forum and insulted me.

Emi, I have a question. I have not violated the TOS And moderator rules. SnipeDragon clearly has. What is to be done about this? He had locked my post last night stating that the post was pointless and had no direction. Then stated that he didn't lock the post and that he had locked the poll so that people could not vote. He also publicly insulted me on that post IN A MODERATOR STATUS which is CLEARLY against the Moderator TOS.

I will help ONLY, and I mean ONLY, if the following ALL of the following conditions are met:

1. Snipedragon apologizes to Nicholas

2. Snipedragon is held to the EXACT same standards the rest of the SO staff is, no matter how important or how much he does for SO, he is still a staff member of SO, and therefore required to follow the rules, same as the rest of us. (and on his not being aware of the new rules, you suspended my position as moderator for this same crime BEFORE you posted the rules, and I didn't know about it, and I was not even given a warning, but I still was punished. Keep that in mind Sir Emi.)

3. Snipedragon needs to be allowed to operate only certain areas of the forum, same as the rest of the moderators, he has too much power, and is already showing signs of abusing them (I am refering to the locking of nicholas's poll and calling it useless). It's not right to give him that much power just because he can do a little more for this game, and fyi, Sir Emi, other players have offered to help you with coding and you deny them, but this nobody (I use this term meaning person who came from nowhere. Just clarifying that) is allowed to help? That is an insult to all players who offer to help you on a regular baises.

4. The project for a history of SO has been talked about multiple times. I wish to be given the position of leader on this project and to choose who helps me with it, with no outside influence. I have been working on it for a long time, with input from many other players, and hope to finish before the new year or by valentine's day at the latest.

5. you at least consider making one of the current moderators (excluding snipedragon, who isn't on that much) an admin to help you run the forum, as you should concentrate more on the game.

If you can meet those, I'll gladly help (most of them are dead obvious and fair anyway.) on the advertisement.

Can you do me a favor? Before you make comments reguarding my skill, can you please do a little research and learn about my prior history in this game? You can start in the History section that I moderate and look at the legendary commander list. Then research about my actions and things I have done.
