After some very extensive mothership / galaxy / encounters tests, I have managed to ballance the cost calculator with the missions, in order to provide the best fleet protection vs. reward vs. risk. The fleet cost calculator, as you know, is designed to reduce the enemy fleet spawns you encounter in the missions. However, the old cost calculator was reducing the enemy fleets while not lowering the rewards received in missions, meaning that a commander with no fleets could theoretically take advantage of that fact, if he was reducing his fleets on purpose, resulting in much easyer fights for the same reward.
This has been fixed in this latest update, the reward will now align to the fleets reduced by the cost calc, e.g. if it takes away 50% of the enemy armada, the reward will also be just 50%.
A new feature introduced. This new feature gives control of the cost calculator to each commander. You can enable / disable it at will. It is enabled by default, but you can always disable it. If you disable, you will always fight for the same reward, but the cost calculator will not help you, so you will need to face the required enemy fleets for that particular reward, basically rasing the difficulty and reward of all missions, if disabled.
As the missions seemed pretty stable during tests, I have also decided to reduce the amount of general spawned enemy fleets by 20%, to help in the developement of new commanders.
God Speed commanders!

ya, i really dont understand excally how the cost thingy works now? humm i think i see how it is.. the price shown is an approximent value but if you go angainst more than the normal amount you get more money, but if you go agianst less you get less.. beacuse i just got like 20 mil extra on 1 mission cool.. so if you win against a real strong fleet.. that killes one of your ships you may get more due to it being way bigger than the noramal amount..

Of course you can enable / disable at will, when you feel you want to risk or not...

very nice though by the way, does this mean that we can finally get the amount we deserve for killing a superfleet mission? I always hated the fact of facing a 100x more powerful fleet, for the exact same reward. edit- now all we need is that mission multiplier, to truly waste turns like madmen, on something that actually helps us grow

The segements are reward still, and if the cost calculator is enabled, you could get less segments for the mission, if it reduced the number of fleets spawned... If you disable it, you should get full segments, however, the missions will be more risky.

I tried several time, on missions I got 3 times less reward in 30 tries or sumthing. And on segs I got the reward telling me it gace everytime. Should be 1500 instead.

This is what I make on a 20% mission, even though fleet calculator is off, why is this? I should be making 1500 off these.

The segemnts should be about 1 for each mil reward, so like 1.000 segments at 100 mil reward. Stops at 1500 for morhership / galaxy. Some of the galaxy ones give less, but the new ones that appeat should give that amount. I'll fix the old ones tommorow. Let me know if you receive less than it says, or less then the 1 segment / mil reward, with cost calculator disabled...
It the cost calc is enabled, you could receive less segments, just like less reward is...

I tried the mission contracts with the cost calculator enabled and disabled on seg missions, and there is no difference in reward. Due to this fact no-one is doing Seg missions. It really needs to be sorted. Here are the results on both -
Enabled - Contract ID 6055550 17% so kill a few dudes for me they arent very strong but you get like 179 segments 200 if you destroy them for me Thank you for your help commander, you have been awarded 179 Segments. Unidentified Fleet(#) lost more power than you during battle. (+2216 Exp)
Disabled - Contract ID 6056924 17% Get away from my segments. Give them back. Police. Police That man took all 179 segments . Thank you for your help commander, you have been awarded 179 Segments. Unidentified Fleet(#) lost more power than you during battle. (+2562 Exp)
