Dune Awakening Solari U4GM to be as polished as possible. But a ?three-week delay? right after a beta makes me think the problems run deeper than they?re letting on. Having tested enough pre-release games over the years, I?ve seen this play out: the studio announces a short delay, then quietly pushes again when the next internal milestone isn?t met.
That said, I do appreciate that the devs are responding to beta feedback. At least they?re not just ignoring players, which happens more often than it should. Still, I worry that a short delay might not be enough time to fix what really needs fixing. Players reported everything from combat pacing issues to incomplete systems in the survival loop. Unless the game was already near-complete, three weeks might only let them put on a fresh coat of paint ? not rebuild a shaky foundation.
I?ll keep my preorder for now, but I?m watching closely. If this becomes the first in a series of incremental delays, or if the launch is still rocky, I might reconsider. Transparency is key ? just tell us what?s being worked on and why it?s taking time. I?d rather hear hard truths now than be let down later.
