I don't care what someones combat bonus and how many marines it cost if i send in 10 quad marines at a 400 tril planet I should take it or run out of marines before it enters rebellion.. This game is total crap because once someone hits a certain combat bonus on their planet you can not take it before it enters rebellion.. it is impossible. So dumb. If you won't let me take it just don't let me hit it don't let me waste the marines and turns on trying

There are ways to take planets with high combat. Though it costs a looooot of marines, and math and stuff I care not to explain.

Yeah I had a lot of marines and used to be able to take planets doing the same thing I am now. I bet something has changed since I last hit bit planets. The game won't let me take the planet before it rebells

Maybe that's what happened but if that is the case that is pretty dumb. How can sending more people to attack a planet be worse

too many soldiers could mean mass confusion, inability to follow orders, commands get lost in transmission, etc...

Funny that, isn't that what happens in large SpaceO alliances? 16

I still sent in enough marines that if they were just randomly shooting they would have killed many of their own but still enough shots would have went off to kill all the colonists

it sounds like you went up against Dracula... (see true story of dracula for reference)
