Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villian by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished...

I still dont get it. Make no sense to me. What am I missing? How is it funny? It just seems dumb and illogical to me...

so first you would have had to have played AoE... secondly you would have had to try putting 10 elephant units on a boat then taken them off and tried fiting 11 archery units on the boat?!
Really dumb. Not a funny picture.

No, mannaman15, all it takes is some experience with RTS's. Then it is immediately obvious the humorous phenomenon that it is referencing.

On nearly all RTS games the maximum number of units you can put on a ship (or put in an army) is determined by the number of units and not their size.

On AoE and such games 10 units can go on 1 boat, so 10 elephants or 10 archers. It just as 10 unit slots, but it is quite ridiculous that on a boat that can hold 10 elephants you can only hold 10 archers.

On newer games like shogun totalwar, the ships carry a certain amount of regiments. Hero yari samourai (spearmen) go in groups of 30 and standerd spearmen go in groups of 150. But still you can only hold the same amount of regiments although one group is 5x bigger than the other.
