Hi all,

Been goofing around in this game for a few days now, enjoying it all so far  1

I note though that I seem to be attacked ONLY when I am offline....I pretty much view that practice as being a "free shot" or a cheap tactic, to hit players while they are offline, to sack them for as much as you can while enjoying immunity from attack. I came online today & found myself hit 3 or 4 times in the hours I was offline!!!!  laugh It's not a unique problem to this game....it happens a lot in other online games & usually ends up driving the victim away from playing. You know how it goes..."not worth it" or "can't get ahead cos I get raided & end up defenceless every day", etc.

So I suggest that the STATUS be disabled. That is, in the RANKINGS screen, you'll note that when a player is online, the status tells everyone they are online. If you disable that, make the decision of when to hit a player a "risk" so that they don't know if they will get beaten off or not, it might break this cycle of attacking only when a player is offline ;) The counters are all fine & well, but at times the raider is a new player looking for easy targets that can't hit back. I was raided today & when I countered, the guy's fleet is so small I couldn't hit back to recoup any of what I lost. That's a bit pointless in my book. If players can raid freely, knowing that their fleet is too small to be countered, what defences does the raided have against such tactics? So I reckon that ALL fleets, no matter how large or small, should be able to be countered  effectively 1

Although a good idea in theory, wouldn't work in this game....  The reasoning behind it is flawed as there are actually things implemented in the game that prevent you from losing too much while you are offline, in that you can use pships and go into a nebula before you lose all you have.  Also, a player can only raid your base 5 times max in 24 hours i believe.  Plus, there are other ways to knowing when a player is offline.

do you have gold account ?

and Btw you need 25% total power in 1 hit to go into the neb, but let say you got attacked 5 time and you lost 5% total power each attack that would put you into the neb were you lost 25% total power.

When you go to "WAR" and then to "Covert Ops" you can select a mission to do vs a players you have a counter on. So that you can still damage a player when they are to high or low in power for you to hit.

Remember when players are to low for you to hit, they might have reserved their ships so that option is worth considering.

Actually, having your online status displayed can have its advantages....

I have in the past deliberately logged out and waiting for an attack, when this happens I can log back in and use the counter before that person's had time to hide his ships!  All part of the psychological war aspects of the game!!
