A very awesome idea was proposed by Secret(#1541) (PVE):

The ability to separate ship designs into 'Lines'. Most designers already make ship lines for supers and swarmers, and name them appropriately. This feature, however, would allow designers to create entire lines of ships which would be easily searchable and rate-able for people with Gold accounts - instead of picking random ships close to the price range you like you can browse through highly-rated lines of ships and clone all the ships in that line instantly (with Gold obviously).

This will probably fall on deaf ears, but I think it is an awesome idea that would be a fantastic interface upgrade and Gold incentive.

Yeah that would help. I purposly added s7s in front of all my design names to make it easier for people to see my lines

I definitely agree with this. I design ships myself, and I have 3 lines of supers, and I think this would help a lot for people who wanted to find a good ship.

I think that this idea has a lot of merit, and should be implemented. It'd be nice to look through lines instead of searching a person's name like 'Midnight44' (while the designs aren't too good, it's an example) and seeing the real designs mixed in with mod'd ones and ones missing parts, etc.

Hopefully Emi will read this.

With Gold Account you can allready search lines as long as designer lables them all the same name...
I do like the rating system you suggest tho.

That does not stop someone from using the name naming scheme to try and trick users into buying their designs.
