Incorect username or password!

I think alot of player have had it, as I see alot of players asking on Main: Is SO Elite offline?

You're just doing your bussiness, attacking, missions, whatever, and all of a sudden the screen goes:

Incorect username or password!
Your session may have expired. If you have trouble logging in, check no cookies option.

Back

And when you try to log back in on SO Elite, you can't, and if you have the same password on Elite as on SO Main, you get logged in at SO Main, eventhough you selected SO Elite.

This has been around for awhile. Used to happen with me playing main, it'd send me to WARS. A simple fix is clicking 'no cookies' as far as I can tell.

I never had the problem, and I always select no cookies, so this might be the fix.

Anyone else had the problem while using no cookies?

I have never had the problem. I never touch cockies.
Running google chrome browser.

I'm using FireFox, and it doesn't help if you select cookies or not.

no, I said that the server was down for me. Meaning I could not log on at all, not that it logged me onto main instead...

Well FireFox may be the issue, as I am using chrome just like Wes.

I only get the incorrect username when I'm offline for to long.

I use firefox, no issues.  same for me as FTP said.

A force refresh on the login page may help Shift+click refresh in FF, or clearing the browser cache.

Looking into what can be improved.
