ok I know we have all seen this but it is very weird. I figured you would get better stuff for killing something higher than you and wasting the items to kill queens that have more fp than you do, but this is not the case everytime it gives a reward like it was from something 2% of your fp and not from something thats 125% of your fp. a prime example is alien queens. here is one such example

You attacked Unidentified Fleet(#)'s fleet and mothership from deep space.
You destroyed Unidentified Fleet(#)'s 34069853365 ships and lost 0/4 ships.
You lost 0/232.363.635.115.896 fleet power (0%), while the enemy lost 168.058.285.090.411/293.940.006.514.155 fleet power (57%)

Primary Objective: Destroy 50% of the enemy while losing less percent of the armada than the enemy.

Incoming transmision!
You are clear to use any salvage anything you may find useful.
Your salvage crews found the following items trough the alien wreckage:
99 x Nutation Intricate Diagram
99 x Gamma Inertial Magnifier
99 x N-Type Gravity Device
99 x System Munition Magnifier

The Alien Commander droped something valuable:
4 x Polimer Multispectral Amplifier
1 x Supplemental Gauss Launcher
2 x Fourier Computer Link
4 x Optical Module
5 x Auto Shield Matrix Barrier

Unidentified Fleet(#) lost more power than you during battle.
(+25900 Exp)

all the items are like 1-5 percent attack/hp/acc and the credits and workers don't even break that 100m each mark

That's just the way it is, and you'll have to deal with it. And in the future, don't double post.

ok where is the double post the second is another example. Its not the same post and im not complaining for me but anyone that does an oversized alien gets the shaft. i can see it happening you know half the time but to happen every time and never out of 20 plus tries get anything close to what the drops should be.  Why would anyone want to do anything risky if there is no reward for doing it. example why attack 150% of your FP for a reward that you can get off doing something thats 10% of your fp ??? not to mention the rewards for doing the 150% one is less than a 5% fp encounter/alien

A double post is posting something, and then instead of editing your previous post to add something in, you post something else. REGARDLESS of what it is.

And as for the rewards. The game's supposed to get hard, dude.

^That.

When you make post a topic, if you need to add something else to it and no one else has replied yet, you need to edit your post and not post another reply.  Truth of Mind handled this properly, if you have a problem you may bring it up directly with me.

I have noted this and will look into it.

While it's not technically a bug since the item drops power is random from minimum to max power, example if you kill a higher enemy fleet power you stand a chance to loot a "turns" item from 1 - (max limit depending of fleet power) turns, I am looking into increasing the minimum limit up to a certain level.

Will post about this on the updates when it's ready, also working on a couple new covert ops attack types, specifically using galaxy counters to sabotage planets.

Thank you.
