Build lots of warehouses on your segments, at least fifteen-thousand to be safe. And buy expensive stuff from CHOAM. Go to the buy offers in the marketplace and wait for a buy offer from CHOAM, and then sell your stuff. Repeat as necessary.

Make sure you're going to the Buy Offers section and not to the warehouse section to sell your stuff. If you sell your stuff from the warehouse menu, you'll make about negative 75% profit.

Yeah OK, but you just said 15,000 warehouses!?!?
I don't have that many segmants!
And thx anyway,
And also I've placed offers before, but I never ge tthe goods?
I haven't a clue how it works....
And also is it better to use the buy out price, minimum price or somewhere in between?

Always bid the minimum price. And, ya, sometimes people like to outbid everybody. Oh, are you placing Buy Offers or are you bidding in the Sell Offers section? When you go into the market menu, in the lower left section click on the thing that says Sell Offers and place bids on those things. I suggest only buying from CHOAM though.

You really only need 10.000 warehouses, but I like to keep a good cushion just in case somebody decides to attack me and I loose a lot of segments. The last thing you want to happen is to loose twenty billion credits. Well, when your networth is about twenty-one, twenty is a lot.

Yea, I also leave a big cushion.

But, market is not very good for those with too few segments.  If you look at the prices of things, at the lower levels, you could make more money from having farms for just a few turns, than you could from using those segments for trading things.  Some things are absolutely worthless.  Like paper and water, are worth < 10 each.  That means that each segment is earning less than 1000 credits.  It would take less than 100 turns of a farm to get that.

Ya, but when you got, like, six billion to fund your marketeering, you'll easily turn it into a hundred billion. Or, at least I did. ^_^"

If you need help getting started on the path to it, attack players with no ships and steal theirs.  Keep in mind, most of them will eventually hate you for it.

Attack people with zero ships and then hide behind a wall of powerships! ^_^

It works quite well for me for the most part. I was up to forty thousand till my powerships stopped working for a while for no reason.

Ya, but remember, I've experienced little worse than getting hit bad with a near-full warehouse.

That's why you should never fill your warehouse. If you really need more space for goods, then move some segments from biofarms to warehouses. Always leave at least a 20% gap inbetween your total warehouse capacity and the amount of space your stock is taking up.
