Cau you make the pic to show the whole aura of the planet, and put some more iregularity, terrain, typhoon, on it, maybe we can use it then...

uhh tink try putting a shadow on part of the planet so you can see night side also, and try using outter glow... also just for a background make it a bit bigger then the planet and add a simple starfield (noise)

lol oops. i really need to check my work....
i posted the wrong picture.
i have one witha good starfield and a second planet... i did the glow tiha a gradient and the shadow didnt work too well.
