Sat any chance you can create a break down of how the points add up? It is much more impressive if someone has 12 top 1 finished for 240 points then getting #2 24 times.

Well it should be self explanitory just by looking through the halls results. Where people have been tied for 1st as in earlier rounds(before Emi changed it that whoever max'd first got the top position) they all got 25 points etc, but someone listed 2nd where 1st was tied didnt get the 2nd place points, they got the true position ie. 4th/5th etc.
I could post the calculations from the spreadsheet I worked it out from , but it would take a bit of effort since copying and pasting never lines up on forum pages, so you spend hours trying to tidy them up.
Hope that explains your question too superXD, yes they did in earlier rounds , no to later ones.

Just added some more to the list, now everyone that has ever appeared in halls is listed.
Just to give the list some additional justice, in tied situations the commanders second highest historical position in a round will be counted and placed above any others with the same points total. In the event of it still being tied, then the number of top 10 finishes will then be counted).
Just remember, this is just a bit of fun, it doesn't in any way determin who's the best player etc, many of the games best rate fairly low in this table.

That could give false results, I've seen plenty of top 10 people switch alliamces late in a round.

Most of the experienced players would know that being in the hall of fame is not indicative of skill. My opinion is this, if you can get to the top five then it indicates that you have commitment. Since it does take a lot of time (grinding aliens etc etc) to get to a good level in the game. However, there are so many players with exceptional skills that do not bother with the hall of fame. There are many designers, PVP players and strategist that can't be bothered waking up at 2 AM in order to hybrids or P ships up. As Saturn said, this is just for fun  |
