Welcome to space Odyssey. if you would like to enjoy the game please consider the following rules:
1. The main server and war server contain PVP action. If you are the type of person who do not like being attacked for no reason whatsoever then you should walk away from this game right now ... or play the PVE server.
2. Not only will some people attack you but some people will attack you over and over and over and over again. The PVP servers are tough. Again, if you do not like this type of stuff please leave or change servers.
3. If you feel someone has cheated in the game don't go on the forums and on the public chat and accuse people. Just write an e-mail to the developer of the game and he will sort it out. Accusing people of cheating or hacking just makes you look stupid and will gain you more enemies than friends.
4. If you are resupplying a new ship please make sure you have Marines on them. Roughly 50% is a good figure but in my opinion just get it fully Marined and you should have no problems. If you don't do this and get attacked and lose your ships, please don't complain about hacks or cheats or anything like that.
5. Don't go with 10 fleet of P ships. This will just power you up to such a high rank that it will annoy the high ranking players and make you a target.
6. If you put systems fleets then your stations will most likely get killed. If you don't name your station with your name and/or your alliance name, they will get destroyed. With that in mind, please note that your stations can be killed at any time.
7. Don't steal someone design and pass it up as your own just to get royalties. Just clone it yourself and give the designer the props they deserve.
8. Yes, it is annoying that the higher ranked players are always there. Yes, it is annoying that there is always one large strong alliance. Either live with this fact or try and bring down the alliance. If you start complaining, whether it's on the forums or on the public chat, you will make more enemies than friends.
9. If you are a new player please don't ask for free stuff from other players. This is more likely to get you attacked.
10. Don't be a grammar police, we are playing a game not writing a novel.
These rules are not officially endorsed by the developer of the game. So obviously you won't get into trouble by the developer if you break these rules. They are simply there if you want to enjoy the game without harassment from other players. Think of it as "rules of life"
