Royalties received are 2% of what the buyer paid after bonuses on all servers.

if the buys a 1 bil ship for 800 mil because of bonuses, the designer receives 1.6 mil.

However you may not get that much per day as the max amount of royalties you can receive per day is based off this formula: ((Player Level /500) *15) * (Number of segs *2,500,000 + number of credits/workers/colonist) = max amount of credits from royalties per day
