Hey guys, I'm going to be posting some cool, real space pictures that I have taken. Pictures either taken with a 8-inch Takahashi Newtonian telescope on a Takahashi equatoril mount, or with a FC125 refracting telescope on a Takahashi equatorial mount. Cannon 20Da. Multiple exposures, usually between 25-40 seconds, layered. Orion Nebula  Flame Nebula  M31  Walking Man Nebula  The Moon  |

Yeah the equipment is very expensive. We have ours in a dome, so that upped the cost even more. But once you have everything installed all you have to pay is the electric bill, because it's a digital camera. I think probably upwards of 25k for everything.

Yeah the clarity and coloring is because of the layering, if it was just one picture it wouldn't look nearly as good.
