new to the game and i'm not quite lost, but no where close to being found.  Guides and wiki got me started, now i'm looking for a little more help.  Any training fleets/alliances that would like to recruit another noob, let me know.

You will need to state whether your on the so main , pve or wars servers.  Some alliances are defensive only ( only attack when attacked) so make sure you know what type of alliance would suit you.  There are a few alliances recruiting new players on the main server, ask in game too!  good luck.

If you are talking of Wars you could try: National Galactic Union aka NGU, The Wars Server Training Alliance, and Galactic Training Squadron.
