get into a nebula, then buy ships, he can't hit you there.

Try putting a ship in reserve if you can't make it to full strength right away.
There's nothing more annoying than building up a supership (upgrade by upgrade by upgrade as you get money) only to have it destroyed before you can pile on enough defense/hp/absorb.
Same goes for swarm designs. Having insufficient numbers in a fleet means that it won't be able to survive/destroy its intended target.
It'll cost you a little bit more, but then voting gives you 150 mill. So, once you get a fleet worth 1.5 bill, just vote, and bring to active.
And if, despite all of that, you still lose ships, just put your ships to reserve whenever you're not on. You will get attacked by segment hunters, but you won't lose the ships.

atcually trobs is kinda annoying, for example:
one day i was making a fleet of newly designed ships, i was buying them two at a time after i felt the upgrades where sufficeint, then i get an attack trobs loses 5k ships, i lose both of mine, i ressupplie, and the whole thing happens over and over again about 5 times...

Why don't you make the design on blank   When you make a design on blank you design the ships hole and powercore and then you buy 0 ships of these kinds. Add the sistems later and when it's later just resupli  |
