Looking for an alliance

Hello, I am pretty new to the game, but I want to find an alliance. I can tell I am going to need some help, a few pointers in the right direction so to speak. I need an alliance that can do that for me. I think I am alright at the game. If you want to see if I am any good check out my first design in the design forum. I got a fair bit of help by the time it was done, but I did all the work my self. Now I just want to find a group of people that can help me get to a place where I am decent enough to be somewhat competitive at the game.
