Never try to uninstall Norton.
If you come across a computer that has it, just turn it off and ignore it.
It is for the best.

I've tried two different Norton deinstallations, both from relatively okay systems.
It broke my computer installation both times, for no reason.
The first one is an interesting story, I'll probably tell it sometimes.

yeah... norton blows... can be a real pain in the ars... i bought the new norton 360 off the internet for like 70 bucks... i installed it and everything.. worked fine for about a week.. even though i dont think it helps too much, but then it just uninstalled itself and wouldnt let me reinstall it...
