Interactive Missions also known as  "Storyline missions / Interactive Encounters"

Testing them on SO PVE server now. The missions can be found in hidden locations trough probing via the Quadrant Map or by visiting solar systems, like normal encounters.

Only added about 8 interactive missions, mostly based on the normal encounters but more interesting. Relatively balanced missions, reviewing player made missions now and balancing in order to add to the game.

Other info:
- The number of steps and the difficulty (chance of fail) in reaching the next step has an effect on the end reward.
- Some missions are more rare then others, depending on reward, mission profitability, etc.Other notes:

When someone finds a hidden encounter via probing, the encounter is assigned to that player. A 24 hours timer starts, and the player has 24 hours to finish the mission. After 24 hours if not completed, it will disappear and another one will be created somewhere else.
If someone else finds this encounter that has been assigned to another and not yet completed, nothing will show on the scanner.
So there is a chance that when jumping to the hidden encounter you won't find anything.

Hidden encounters are more important to higher power commanders, because they have less system encounters. As you progress and find less and less system encounters, you will have to move on to exploration to find hidden encounters to increase your power further. There is a higher competition of those hidden encounters, so they are generally harder to find then Alien hidden encounters.



P.S.: Also added planets to SO PVE, remember the planets can still be raided / conquered, only your mothership is protected from pvp.

Sir e, when you are putting in player missions, can you put them on test server as well? Cos my ships on pve are crappy 16

-Does comm. upgrades increase reward from these missions?
-Did you increase exploration chance? (cos no failed attempts in 75-80 scans already)

so far i found 2 of them, kinda pissed me off that they both ended when i chose step b....and they disappeared, which sucks, when i fail an encounter its still there, thought these would be the same.  oh well, more to find i guess.

one thing i noticed is alien spawns are increasing, 9 to 10 aliens in a quad so far, of course some are these new encounters

Some of the commander abilities work in the Interactive Missions, like the experience, the others will be added asap.

-Did you increase exploration chance? (cos no failed attempts in 75-80 scans already)

Yeah the chance was a bit higher because I was testing. Back to normal now.

- Also checked planet raids for all servers, and they give raided resources correctly now.

Sir Emi, we have noticed a lack of pinpointer probes on PvE since this update, did you change something or is it just bad luck?
ive gained 100 multis and 1 pinpointer  2

when i failed it , it moved  2   thumbsdown

and why are planets so expensive on pve, this server ends like main, it is not infinite like wars. 4

at least you made the galaxy worth traveling again, thanks for that  1

Emi you said after finding the encounter we have 24 hours to do it again...im finding them , failing either because of wrong step choice or high % to fail step and it then they  disappear.  you expect me to travel the entire galaxy to try and find these failed encounters? especially with high turn costs? i can understand having to use more pinpointers to find it again, but to make it warp out of quad  ranting2 please change them warping.  thumbsdown
