Your ships probably aren't good enough. Missions aren't easy, and until you can get good enough ships, you shouldn't do them. Talk to gunfighter_frank or ars68 about some ships.

thats for starting a mission isn't it. I'm trying to make one, ya know at the bottom of the Mission Contract screen

New contract idea:
Please write [% reward %] where the credits should be displayed

Max difficulty: %
Reward type:  Credits Workers Segments

all you do is where you what the reward to be placed you insert   [% reward %]   then at the bottom you deside what kind of reward you want.  segments, credits, workers.  then you select the dificulty of the mission. easy

ya, it's like this:

you type in the description and instead of putting up the actual reward, like 1000000000 credits, you put in the "reward variable" which is then used by the computer to put in what it should say, and uses. and to indicate where the "reward variable" is put, you type in (or copy, I just copy and paste it myself) [% reward %]

I answered your pm about this, but that's a feature that doesn't exist, but is going to be a personal bounty feature later. That's the plan anyway.
