im kinda new to this game but i think im improving and growing well.
one thing i keep having trouble with is shields.

About how much shield percentage should i have for a 380 mil credit ship?

its got  171266002 hull n 102699773 atk with currently 51% shield
is that about good? or should it be higher because at the moment, only about 1.5 % of the total energy is being used for comps/shields and im thinking that thats not very optimized

anyone can give me som advice? or pointers? watever?
also, can anyone tell me exactly wat the formula is for the shields? i tried using the formula thats given in the other post but it doesnt seem to work too well for me. Is it just me? or is it wrong?

I believe that the formula given is correct. If you understand some math, you should be able to set all the stats and what not into a big formula or even just guess and check it.

1 hp=+10 cr
1en= -3cr


Useing this, you should be able to see If your current energy spent on shields is helping your overall hp or would it be better to spend it on a bigger special or vice versa

I personaly like big abs and acu but you have to make sure you dont sacrifice actual attack and HP for it

in battle,
are shield and acc percentages always whole number percentages? like how it is shown for ship data
i noticed that to show ship data, it always rounds to the... nearest whole number??
and i was wondering if u can jus get the math added up so that it rounds up to the next whole number percent, like xx.53 % => xx+1 %

Grammar and punctuation would be nice, but I think I get the gist of it.

From what I've seen, I believe the percentages are simply rounded. (e.g. %%.2 => %%, %%.5 => %%+1)

The math would work out to a simple (floor(x+0.5)%).

it doesnt seem to work right for comps =(
does it make a difference if u have a weapon installed or not?
in one of my tries, according to the calculations, the acc from the comps should be 30.5 exactly
but, when i install it, it only comes out to be 29
i tried it more than once and i get similar results...

can anyone help me with this???  2

I worked out all the formula's in the past but I lost them, but believe me they were hard.
