As i see this tree of forum full of topics in which people asks for good designs.
Here I would try to show one of my swarmers design and to explain how did i make it.

This is my design:
Hull 26

Armor weight 9 cost 135 HP:429   
To say about armor I don't know if this is best, but I tried to balance between weight and HP. Primary object was weight. If you think that is to low so don't forget about swarm bonus.
Weapon 4 guns like:
weight 2 cost 1  energy 201
attack 7135 ACC 15%
To say about gun: This design is was made not for single fleet i made 5 fleet like this. Because of this ACU is low. Don't try to make one big fleet with this ships. It not a good idea.
Powercore weight 9 cost 3 energy generaed 858.
Powercore is made depending on gun needs. I think it's best way of designing powercore for small ships. For big ships it's no so.

lol, Gunfighter, 90% of the ships out there are now either yours or remakes of yours.

are you sure that is all. I have designed over 300 ships. and I know many of them have been copied more than 1 time.  but there are a few other designers our there that have as many of thier ships copied. like the Guncorvetts, Yellow jackets, Tiny man, T 900 just to name a few

lol, until I read through again and saw it ahd an armour, I was about to say it was my mauler design. (remember, I have almost as many designs out there as frank)

now why can't people stop looking at frank and start looking at me, for a change?  what is so wrong with my ships?  just because I don't go out killing other people's ships to prove their worth doesn't make them any worse then they are.

I dont around killing others peoples ships. I win missions with minimal looses

So does ars. I'm using his designs, I've lost about 3 missions, with 0 losses, the rest were wins. The only time I lost ships was when I was experiementing or going too fast and that stupid mission dificutly update for time screwed me over.

Indeed.  His fleets worked well for me til I hit a suicide fleet and was unable to purchase them back.

you'll be able to get them back eventually. And the beginning ships are always hardest. Once you get the ball rolling it's easy. But yes, his ships are effective.

A topic can have some alternate disscussion CTPEJIOK, as long as it is relevant, which this is, they are ABOUT designs, so it's ok. Now, if we were talking about the yankees or something else like that, then yes, that is off topic and not allowed (well, you're not SUPPOSE to do it).

But here's my contribution, though this is more for gold members then anyone else. Ship Name: Megaman. Both I made and both are fairly decent designs.
