AH! my guide got moved! lol, I though for a second it got deleted. I guess this is a more proper home though. And yes, the reomance languages are the closest to english, which is why people in america prefer learning french to spanish, it's easier to learn and remember.

Yeah... Romance language list for those of you left in the dark as to what languages these are:

French
Spanish
English
Italian
Portugese
Romanian

And a few others I can't think of just yet.

Um, english is NOT a romance language, nor is Portugese, or romanian to my knowledge. As far as I know, they are as follows:

French
Italian
Roman (not romanian)
And another European country, forget the name though, I'll look it up when I have more time.

Luffy, Romance languages developed in areas conquered by the Romans.  Which includes most of the British Isles, Portugal, and Romania, as well as the other languages I've mentioned.  But still, how do you think Romania got it's name and language???

ROMAN-ia

So there.

Roman isn't a language at all.  Romans spoke Latin.  5

Romanian, however, was derived from Latin, like French, English, etc.

THAT's the other language I was looking for, latin (It is a romance language, it was on my test) And English wasn't derived from latin, to my knowledge, I thought it was derived from a bit of everyone else's languages?

Well yeah, I was just mentioning the fact we take a sizable chunk of our language off the Romans.

mrtimbr, I am so confused now, but whatever. And congrats Charlemagne. I've got to add something to this guide for encounters. I already figured out how to do them (I did a total of 7 of them, won 5 of them too.), guess that's my next project.

wcislo12, this is not the place to ask that, and almost none will give you a good design for free, and anything really good will cost you to get the design from someone.

I am requesting his post be deleted. due to irrelevance and improper placement.

how do you tell how much of your power comes from ships and how much comes from mothership?

Sidenote: English is a Germanic language. We use a sentence structure virtually identical to german...mostly. English has major romance tendancies to to the english assimilating massive number of latin words during the renaisance. If you know old english the bridge between english and germna becomes very visible.
