i designed a ship using the serentiy guide and im wondering if its any good for anything really
well here are the stats

i've been criticized on this so i'll get to it before anyone else:

It's good, just increase the ABS more, and maybe the attack at a 2:15 ratio it's a bit much, especially at a ship of that cost...so...less on the A:HP ratio, make it around a 1:2 and increase ABS to at least 51 if not more

an extreme ratio is the best way to beat Kfleets tho

i dont know about that apoc, i think it will take a hell of a long time to defeat an encounter, as remfer says the ratio does need to change at the very least maybe 1:3, if you can put the entire design up i will build it and test it out...

with a 2:15 ratio you never defeat anything.

what i do is after making everything besides special and weapon i take remaining energy, multiply it by .6 (60%) and make a special with that, then take the remaining (40%) and make a weapons so the ratio is about a 2:3 for me

then i guess u can use this ship as a tank to deflect most of the enemy attack and have a few ships with a good atk to finish enemy off

if ur going to do that then yes...that or just place all 100% of remaining energy (after making shields, and NO CPU's) into the special to make it a giant shield for your smaller ships, as long as it stays alive, no one else will  die, unless they're stronger so they go first

the most common ship now is a ratio of 1 attack per 2 hitpoints.  or 1:2.  for a ship that cost more than 8 billion it should have better than 60% abs and acc.  I myself choise a balance of attack and hits. and I also make specific designs for a specific purpose.

in all honesty its not that great heres the stats on a 26b ship i made my commander levels bring it up a bit but in atk/hp only 1% hp but this ship origonally has 84% acu and 69% abs

yes, you must take that into consideration, your commander bonuses. those can greatly affect it all.
