Please consider the following suggestion:

If you counter-attack someone and show up in the News section, rather than being listed as an attack, could it say someting like

xocp(#1234) made a successful counter-attack and
noob(#9999) lost 24.000.000 fleet power.

That way alliance members of the noob user don't get irritated and think it was an unprovoked attack and start trying to stomp you.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea to me... distingushment between attacks and counters could be useful, if not for boasting purposes...  5

I would like to see counter attack enstead of attack as well for the simple fact if a count is given that is to be expected. however, and unprovoked attack is to be retalieated against with extreme prejudgice

bounty attacks should also be listed as such in the news.
