I attacked a gold transport and there was this ship, hell's fist.  Anyway, so i go down the battle, and hell's fist comes in.  And his name was in red, so that's wasn't surprising when that part was in red, but the rest of the mission had turned red.  all the words...i don't know if that is just a glitch from the red name, but that was weird

Back when I was designing fleets, I got the bright idea to put "<font color=colorname>Ship</font>" and I don't claim to be the first, but people engaging my ships liked what they saw and tried it themselves so they cloned the fleet, looked at the beginning and forgot the ending part. so they put "<font color=colorname>Ship" and that was it. This was back when the chat box was first introduced and everyone was changing font sizes, making the font bold, italic, underlined, strikethrough, etc. and the sort.

yep, basically, it's caused by the tag being open, making all text after that point change color. While Sir emi could fix this by merely having "<font color=white>right after a ship's name, it's not worth the effort to put it in, nor is it really needed.
