If I had but one wish, I would seriously consider making college application a magical, instant process, devoid of all the qualities that make it  such a horrible, sadistic, abominable atrocity.

Huh. I was designing some ships in Space Empires V when I needed a name for for a colonist ship for rock planets (as opposed to ice planets and gas planets). It was then that I came up with the name "Terra Forma". I just now realized, not only is that a pun, but it's a double pun. I.e., its simultaneously a pun of two different things, equally related to the it.

Terra firma ≈ Terra forma ≈ Terraformer

I've never seen a double pun before.

Chronos has played some Space Empires V. But he is unable to use mods for it, thus his experience is limited to the vanilla game.

I was reading part of a Microsoft Terms of Service, when I came across this:

Quote
In using the Services, you may not:
  • use the Services in a way that harms us or our advertisers, affiliates, resellers, distributors, and/or vendors, or any customer of ours or our advertisers, affiliates, resellers, distributors, and/or vendors;

That's all well and good, except since they're Microsoft. "Any customer" pretty much includes 90% of the worlds population.

A zip tie broke inside my computer case, and a cord went up and stopped the fan on my graphics card, causing it to overheat. What's ironic is that it was the cord that controlled one of my case fans.

Let me put that another way: Extra cooling fans were responsible for my graphics card overheating.

Make sure to get the good duck tape and if you need to get rid of the sticky after taking it off Goo be gone or sandpaper works :p

It wasn't overheating, just defective. Got them to replace it for free.
