mission vs. supership, difference?

no, a supership is a ship meant for PVP, player vs player combat. A mission ship is a ship similar to a supership, but designed to survive missions. Sometimes the ships are the exact same, but many times they are not. The main difference is mission ships tend to have more hitpoints then superships.

yes, there is, but most people just use mission ships as superships, to prevent designing new ships.
