Less reputation losses.

For every mission I win I gain I think 15 rep, but for every I lose I suffer -300. So for every lose I have to win 20. So when I fail 3 times in a row becus of bad luck the coming 60 missions are just to build up my lost rep. I think thats a bit harsh.

And just by going to sleep my rep lower from like 1100 to 600.

And its getting ridiculous at higher tp. Failed mission -3k rep, success 15?
Additionally, lower rep, means you are better bounty hunter. So, if you keep failing missions, you become better hunter? 21

f**k THIS, I worked hard to get a positive rep. Then today I buy a new ship, I sell my lowest ships. And for start I did not resupply more powerships. I dropped in the % of the missions I was doing to 5%. I lost a few and I'm negative in one day. I DIDNT COMMITED ANY CRIME, still the reputation fucks me over f**k THIS

I think it reflects that if you lose your ships or fail missions, people won't think as highly of you, so you lose reputation. As long as you don't get a bounty on you, it shouldn't really matter.

ior just a MUCH higher cap on how much rep you gain in a single mission.  I remember beginning of this round, I started at like... -15 rep.  ok, I do like 100-200 missions, guess what?  -15 rep.  not a single point difference.

and ya, there should be no rep loss for losing ships to missions, that's just... wrong.  it's like telling a general to wage a war, but to make sure not a single guy is lost.  it's impossible, not going to happen, and ridiculous to even think a thing.  also, if the potential for going bad quicker gets higher the more power you have, then the quicker it should be to gain positive rep to be as well.  if john doe goes and kills a cat, so what.  if john doe goes and saves a cat, so what.  either way little rep to each other gained or lost.  if superman goes and kills an innocent cat in cold blood, (same thing john doe did) then people will wonder about superman a LOT more, as they would know it is not like him.  if he goes and saves the cat, everybody is all wow.  thanks, superman saves the day again.  (now insert smee into the john doe spot for killing or saving the cat, lol)

hmmm... planet cat?

I agree about losing ships shouldn't lose you reputation, but not about the losing missions=massive loss of rep.
And if a general waged a war, and he (I'm assuming that the general is male) goes and wins the war, with minimal troop losses, his reputation's going to go up a bit with every battle he wins. But if he goes and loses the war and loses loads of soldiers whilst doing it, his reputation is going to be up in smoke, (like his job probably).

I now made the mistake sending my powership instead of my normal fleet. Lost all my rep I gained today again 10

The only what you can do when getting negative rep too fast, is getting it as low as possible, or you will be open to bounty 16

About the generals and wars comment...
Sure, your reputation would go down if you didn't "win" a war.  But what happens if you don't lose any troops anyway?  Does your reputation still plummet because you only killed 10 of the enemy while losing no soldiers, and both sides withdrew?  I hesitate to think so.

ya, except right now if the general goes to war, wins, but loses a lot of soldiers, his reputation will go down.  you may not want to be part of his army... but you will still want him around, because he DID win.  I think there should not be any rep lost if you lose ships ina succesful mission, at the very least, no rep gained or lost, if the rep lost for the ships is greater then the rep gained because of the mission.

heh, ya, I suppose you could say right now Emi has it where the advantage of being a nice guy is no bounty on you, while being a bad guy means you can hit... the other bad guys...  even though with a high good rep you can do that anyway...  so either take the easy way out and go bad, or train your account for endless hours, hoping you don't hit some bug, and go good guy and get benefits of bad guy, plus no collectable bounty 1
