One of the greatest diplomatic initiatives of the 20th Century was the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, might we look at a similar galactic initiative in relation to Tiny's (Hence the title of this thread)

Need an s-ship? If you have Gold just search Jangos, then select the price you want. If you don't have Gold just pm me for a design.

Can't say I really agree with this. The game seems designed in a way to encourage their use. Why else would there by discounts on upgrades still available in the commander panel? Normal ships use upgrades costing just a few credits so this would seem aimed directly towards tiny designs. It's also boring to keep banging similar sized supers against each other so tinys take care of that. They also serve the purpose of allowing people to drop down and hit asshats that might think they're untouchable because they're out of our power range. I'm not a big fan of being hit by them either but I don't see how anyone could objectively call them unfair or want them removed.

The whole thing with them being unfair is it allows someone to take and focus say 3 tril into a fleet that can kill someone who barely has 100 bil. How exactly is the guy who gets hit supposed to counter that?

Easy solution. Don't be the 100 bill person. Otherwise there are options available such as reserving or selling fleets. Use of these, along with people learning to build ships only when they can afford to replace them, makes the crying about tinys pointless. Use all the options available to you before crying about something.

yea i got tinied close to every other day last round, but really they are another kind of ship that works differently than others. it is a little unfair, but if anything is changed, it should be a very small change giving them slightly more fp.

I would just like to point out, least I was misunderstood, I wasn't "crying" about Tiny's, yes they are a part of the game, admittedly a part that are the preserve of those that can afford them. Those that have either built them themselves or acquired them through some sort of clandestine Tiny Proliferation. I shall not mention the spread of dangerous destabilizing technologies by rogue regimes. And please don't take what I have said as my complaining or whining. further edit, or too seriously

sry but i gotta agree. allthough i dont like tinies just as much as jan because they do give an unfair advantage, they are a part of the game and the treaty shouldn't ban them compeletely.
