Well theres already a way to have a truce with another alliance why not a way to have a way to declare war with one and a symbol next to there alliance members names on the ranking boards to show your at war with them.

i dont see y not but if it really is a war then all alliance members should know anyway

Your correct alliance members should know who your at war with but people are people were imperfect beings someone will forget or something else will happen because of Murphy's Law. So a big neon sign saying were at war with this guys alliance would help remind certain members to attack them and fend off Murphy a bit.

ya im not saying it would be bad. if anything it WOULD help, but atm i think emi is currently all held up with nebula stuff
